On match day you'll see the swinging kilts, Glengarrys and dark blue tops as the Tartan Army march into the city. The Scotland Supporters Club is operated by the Scottish Football Association Limited; a company incorporated in Scotland under the Companies Acts with the Registered Number 5453 and having its Registered Office at Hampden Park, Glasgow G42 9AY.
The Scotland Travel Club was started in the early 1980s to link Scotland fans from all around the world together. It gave members the chance to travel officially to away matches and International tournaments to support the Scotland team and meant regular travellers could be rewarded for their efforts.
By 2001 we had 15000 members who could now also apply for guaranteed home match tickets directly from the club as part of their membership. In 2005, the Scotland Supporters Club was born! This included for the first time a Kids Club and Youth Squad so fans of all ages could be part of the team. Membership had grown again to 17000 by this time.
A memorable Euro 2008 Qualifying campaign saw an explosion in membership numbers, so by the end of 2007 we had 27,500 members and a waiting list of 10000+.
Over the course of 2008 we reached an incredible 32,500 members. Going into the 2010/2011 campaign we have now reached a record 35,000 members, which is the maximum number the club can accept while continuing to guarantee each member a ticket.
Scottish people are very friendly and sociable and love hosting visitors from abroad.
The city has undergone massive regeneration throughout the years and has a good reputation for hosting major sporting events like the UEFA and Champions League Finals.
