Turnhouse Golf Club

Established in 1905 as "The Lothian Golf Club", the club was one of the few of its kind, boasting an 18 hole course. It was in 1909 the club changed its name to the "Turnhouse Golf Club".

The fact that the golf club is situated only a couple minutes away from the Turnhouse train station means that members can come and play in the evening and manage to get the last train home which arrives at the station at 10:55pm, making it easier for members to fit a bit of golf around their everyday life.

Facilities

Practising Range's: Turnhouse has many different practising range's available to help improve any aspect of a players game, for instance the pitching range may help you with your short hand game, whilst the newly introdued driving range provides great practice for those long holes. The club has a pitching, putting, san and driving range on site.

Club Professional: Scott Grieve, a PGA Professional coach is the clubs "club pro" who is renowned for his golfing knowledge and training methods. Scott is also a part of the Forest Alliance allowing him to get competitive prices on golf clothing and equipment from some of the largest golf manufacturers, such as Nike golf, TaylorMade, Callaway golf. This is an advantage to members as they can get their goods cheaper from the club rather than going to High Street or retail outlets.
