Turnhouse Golf Club Turnhouse Road, Edinburgh Midlothian Scotland

Established in 1905 as "The Lothian Golf Club", the club was one of the few of its kind, boasting an 18 hole course. It was in 1909 the club changed its name to the "Turnhouse Golf Club". The fact that the golf club is situated only a couple minutes away from the Turnhouse train station means that members can come and play in the evening and manage to get the last train home which arrives at the station at 10:55pm, making it easier for members to fit a bit of golf around their everyday life.
