You'll want to spend as much time in the paddock as you will watching the racing at the televised Dunlop Great & British Motorsport Festival meeting. The transporters of the major teams, the level of pit equipment and the motorhomes and other paraphernalia wouldn't look out of place in an F1 paddock so come early to soak up the pre race tension and atmosphere.
The professional teams ensure the cars are just as impressive in action, the Dunlop SportMaxx Cup second only in prestige to the British Touring Car Championship, with the cars closer and more relevant to those in the showroom. Perennial favourites, the Minis, both the original Se7ens and Miglias as well as the new 'BMW' types are back to entertain as are the awe-inspiring Radicals.
A new way for 16 to 19 year olds to start circuit racing is the Autosport Young Guns Championship for 750cc Suzuki engined single seaters. The BMW CSL Cup is back - yes, its M3s on slicks and it's on the tele!
