England and the USA kick off their world cup campaigns with high hopes as both teams look to create history. Kick off is at 7:30pm
As the starting 11 goes, we have the following information just now:
England:
Joe Cole is expected to replace the injured Gareth Barry in midfield and has been rumoured to start in midfield. Ledley King and Emile Heskey are also expected to enter the fray. At the moment Fabio Capello is giving nothing away regarding who will win the battle to start as his "number 1", but the peoples favourites remain David James and Joe Hart, respective of their recent performance during England's warm ups.
USA:
USA coach Bob Bradley has confirmed that Jozy Altidore will definitely start upfront after recovering from an ankle sprain that kept him out of the USA's 3-1 victory over Australia. Partnering Altidore could be the in-form Edson Buddle, who netted twice against hte Australians, therefore resulting in fellow American Robbie Findley likely to find a place on the bench. Oguchi Onyewu remains a concern for Bob Bradley, as the AC Milan has only recently made a return on the 26th of May, but is struggling to find form at the moment.
