England Crash and Burn

Published: 28th June 2010

27/06/2010 is a date that all England fans will be looking to forget, as they seen their beloved England fall to a 4-1 defeat against Germany in front of 40510 fans at the free state stadium.

A game which had been damned by questionable decisions seen Franks Lampards shot hit the crossbar and bounce back down, only to be questioned: Was it over the line or not?

Replays show that it was indeed past the line and has left fans and spectators questioning referee Joes Luis Larrionda ability to make decisions and the read the game.

The 4-1 thrashing is the largest defeat that England have ever had in the world cup and has also got teh fans questioning the players pride in even attempting to challenge for the cup, what with only 1 win and 3 goals during their short stay in South Africa.

Fabio Capello also seems to be on the firing line for criticism and is being questioned why?
