A free concert in Trafalgar Square brings together the celebrations for St George’s Day and the Mayor's 'Rhythm of London' festival.
The event will take the form of a ‘double bill’ with the first half featuring performances by young musicians from schools in London and the winners of the 2009 'Busking Underground competition'.
The second half celebrates the theme of ‘Music Hall', part of London’s musical heritage, with performances of some of the best loved songs and opportunities for audience participation.
The event concludes with Joe Brown and his Band. Joe Brown, who grew up in London's East End, celebrated 50 years in the business in 2009, and is sure to deliver a crowd-pleasing finale with his exciting blend of rock, pop and roots music
