QPR defender Matt Connolly signs new two-year deal

QPR defender Matt Connolly has signed a two-year contract extension which will keep him at Loftus Road until the summer of 2013.

The 22-year-old joined the Championship side from Arsenal in January 2008.

He told the club website: "I'm really pleased to commit my future to the club and I am glad that it's all sorted out before the season starts."

Manager Neil Warnock added: "I am expecting big things from him in the next 12 months."
