Derry ready for "testing" pre-season Loftus Road, London Middlesex England

QPR's new signing Shaun Derry has warned his new team-mates that manager Neil Warnock is "not your Average Joe" when it comes to pre-season training.

Derry officially signs for QPR on July 1 and teams back up with Warncock, who swapped Selhurst Park for Loftus Road in March, while the squad return to Harlington on Thursday to prepare for the new season.

Derry told the club's official website: "It will certainly be different. Neil's not your Average Joe when it comes to preparing his side for the opening day of the season.

"We'll have a few laughs but there'll be a lot of hard work along the way. It will be testing for some but everybody will enjoy it, I'm sure of that."
